ZARMET IPG and SMP Engineering LLC Sign Strategic Partnership Memorandum

As part of the 5th Tashkent International Investment Forum held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, ZARMET International Project Group (ZARMET IPG) and the U.S.-based engineering and technology company SMP Engineering LLC signed a Memorandum of Strategic Partnership and Cooperation.

The agreement establishes a long-term partnership aimed at introducing advanced engineering solutions, innovative technologies, and next-generation tunneling and underground construction equipment developed by SMP Engineering LLC to the markets of Uzbekistan and Central Asia.

Under the framework of this partnership, ZARMET IPG will act as the official representative and strategic regional partner of SMP Engineering LLC, supporting business development, market expansion, project coordination, and cooperation with leading industrial enterprises, government institutions, and investment partners across the region.

The cooperation will focus on the implementation of modern technologies for the oil & gas sector, mining and metallurgical industries, infrastructure projects, and heavy industrial applications, including the promotion of advanced tunneling systems, specialized equipment, and engineering solutions.

A key priority of the partnership will be the development of industrial cooperation and opportunities for the localization of technologies and manufacturing capabilities in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, contributing to the modernization and technological advancement of strategic industries.
